The view spectacular. The hotel is decorated with antiques and the rooms are traditional in decor. The shower had strong pressure and hot water, but it is not enclosed so it neglected to warm the body fully. The beds were comfortable and liens clean and of high quality. The breakfast was very good with choices of pastries, meats, cheeses and soft to hard boiled eggs, made upon request! There was parking onsite for 7e or free down the road, but onsite was most convenient. The hotel is a pleasant 10 minute walk below Castelmola proper.

I booked the view of the Vulcan with a nice terrace ( room 308), which was amazing and romantic. The location is perfect because you will be able to go to Taormina in a 25-minute walk. Breakfast was good. The only thing personally I will improve is the coffee because the cappuccino in the machine they have in the breakfast room is not good like the cappuccino in the bar and if people are coming to Italy to drink a nice coffee or cappuccino, that doesn't represent the Italian coffee

You made our little vacation in your pretty town so restful, memorable and special. Gave us a getaway from busy Taormina which we found too busy for us. Castelmola, Sicily will hold a special place in our hearts forever. Thank you to your helpful Staff, who mad us feel so special, especially at the front desk. So sorry we don’t remember your names but the 3 of you were absolutely amazing and mostly professional.

The staff here were so lovely, my partner was suffering from food poisoning from a restaurant and they were so accommodating... offered us assistance and a late checkout. Really great customer service. Beautiful views over the hills to Mt Etna, a bit far from the main town but its on a bus line and they also offer a shuttle service a few times a day. Simple clean rooms. A traditional, high quality hotel service.

It's a few minutes walk from the tiny village of Castelmola .. and around 15 minutes away from Taormina by taxi. There is also a bustop opposite the hotel but you need to put on a particular face mask to access the bus so we opted for a taxi which was 20 euro each way down and up to Taormina.
